Hiya,
I thought I'd play along with this week's Colour Q challenge and make a couple of bookmarks...
I used SU's Two Tags die with Cool Caribbean cardstock then layered Naturals Ivory on top with a combination of punches and dies and a Verve sentiment on each. I added some butterflies for a bit of extra pretty!

Anniversary blooms...
Hi again,
This is the last one - I promise! I have actually posted and linked this card on my other blog, but on reading the instructions on the CPS sketch blog I realised that all 15 of the cards needed to be linked to one blog, so I'm reposting this one here...
I got this hostess stamp set recently and decided to get it inky straight away. I stamped the flower twice for each bloom and then added shading with Poppy Parade ink and a blender pen. The centres were cut out and popped up for added dimension. I layered the flowers on a die-cut circle from the Perfect Pennants die and added some Peach Parfait swirls.
Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Array of Sunshine, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Poppy Parade, Lucky Limeade
Paper: Poppy Parade, Regal Rose, Peach Parfait, Whisper White
Accessories: Rhinestones, word window punch, Perfect Pennants die, Scribbles & Swirls die, vintage wallpaper embossing folder

One for him & one for her...
Hiya,
I'm back with a couple more cards - one's definitely feminine and the other's got a more masculine feel to it (or at least I tried to give it one!). First up, the Mother's Day csrd using this sketch...
I rotated the sketch to suit the image I wanted to use, which I watercoloured with reinkers. The sentiment is from Verve and the papers are old Basic Grey ones that I thought matched the flower nicely.
My other card is completely different - I needed a congratulations card and thought I would try something more suitable for a guy. I used this sketch as my starting point...
I used PTI's Enjoy the Ride set and coordinating die, using Wild Wasabi and Garden Green ink to match the Basic Grey papers. I added a row of matching green brads for a bit of texture as well as some yellow buttons for the headlights of the car.
I've got one more card to share tonight so I'll be back in a little bit...

CR84FN sorry...
I'm back with another card using a CPS anniversary sketch, this time combined with the lovely CR84FN colour palette...
I combined an old SU image with a new Verve sentiment along with some K&Co paper to create this:
The flower image was coloured with pastels and cut out (carefully!) and I added a butterfly from another retired SU set stamped with Old Olive. The sentiment is from Verve's Making a Statement set, and the flourishes (stamped with Tea Stain ink) are from Blue Skies.
That's all for now... I've got a couple more CPS cards to share before the end of the day so feel free to pop in later to see those!

Cherry blossom duo...
Hi there,
Just popping in quickly to share another couple of cards made using the CPS anniversary sketches. I was playing with SU's Easter Blossoms stamp set and started with a soft, feminine colour scheme with this sketch...
And here's another one - this time with a completely different feel using this sketch...
I wanted to have an Asian-inspired theme to this, with the vase and blossom. The backgound paper is from SU's Mocha Morning and has a great sheen to it. I added some ribbon to finish things off.
Thanks for stopping by!

More CPS sketches...!
Hiya,
I'm back with a couple of cards to share with you that I've made using some of the CPS anniversary sketches. First up it's this sketch with a Mothers' Day theme...
I used an image that I'd stamped and coloured (with copic markers) ages ago and has been sitting in my desk waiting to be used! I needed to make some Mothers' Day cards so I thought this image would be perfect. I combined it with some Basic Grey papers and a Verve sentiment.
My next card was using this sketch with an anniversary theme:
I used a sweet image from Taylored Expressions, coloured with copics. The heart embellishment was cut from cork using nestabilities with a button in the middle to finish. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and punched with SU's decorative label punch.
That's all for now - I'll be back later with a few more creations hopefully!

Golden Blooms Blues...
Hiya,
I've combined another couple of challenges today - the Play Date colour challenge and another of the CPS Anniversary sketches. Here's the inspiration:
And here's what I came up with:
I used some SU papers (Beau Chateau) for the layers along with the gorgeous Elementary Elegance Sale-a-Bration stamp set. The flowers are from Growing Green (stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with So Saffron and More Mustard ink). I added some Daffodil Delight taffeta ribbon, a Very Vanilla button and some pearls to finish things off.

CPS Eastern Sympathy...
I'm back with another card using one of the CPS anniversary sketches... and more Chapter One papers! Love the colours on these... I needed to make some sympathy cards and these soothing colours seemed appropriate...
The flower is from a retired SU set called Eastern Influences - I had stamped and watercoloured it ages ago and has been sitting in my 'images' draw ready to be used. Along with the Kaisercraft papers I added an organza ribbon bow with a pearl brad through the centre (the tag is from the coordinating Chapter One tags pack). The sentiment is from Verve and I popped a little white flourish cut from a Spellbinders Accents set of dies off the corner for a bit of added prettiness.

Mojo Journey...
Hiya,
I played around with my Chapter One goodies from Kaisercraft this afternoon using this week's Mojo sketch. My church has requested some 'Enjoy the Journey' cards for our bookshop and Verve's sentiment from Bountiful Backgrounds is just perfect! Here's what I came up with:
Most of this is simply layers of papers from the Chapter One pack layered with Basic Grey cardstock. The sentiment panel is built from a label from Tag Time, stamped with a flourish from Blue Skies (with Certainly Celery ink) and layered with the sentiment punched out with a SU oval punch. The border around the label image was coloured with a Pool Party marker and once cut out was layered on the coordinating label die-cut. I added some Basic Grey satin ribbon and some pearls to finish.

Vintage Musical Birthday...
When I saw the announcement on Nichole's blog about Papertrey being on Pinterest I thought I would go and check it out (I've not really been on Pinterest before, but I can see why people are so keen - loads of inspiration!). I found this inspiration piece that caught my eye:
I used the colours, sheet music and vintage feel to inspire my card...
I dug out some very old papers that I've had in my draw for AGES that reminded me of the paper used in the inspiration piece. The lower panel is a piece of retired SU dsp that I overstamped with PTI's background music stamp with charcoal ink. I layered some blushing bride die cuts (from PTI's banner borders) in the centre then layered a die-cut doily and a sentiment using the Mat Stack 2 die and stamp set (sentiment is from PTI's Birthday Basics set). I added a couple of buttons and some pearls to finish. The layout is from this CPS anniversary sketch.

Live by Faith...
Hi there,
I love colour challenges and when I saw the PTI Anniversary challenge on Nichole's blog yesterday I knew I had to play along. I chose Lisa's favourite combo:
I combined these colours with one of the CPS anniversary sketches (which is hiding underneath all the flowers!!) and came up with this:
I dug out a whole bunch of PTI goodie for this one - Beautiful Blooms stamp set and dies, Beautiful Blessings and some of my fave dies (Parisian doily, medium scallop border and limitless layers circles). The Aqua Mist background was embossed with the Linen and Canvas impression plate and distressed slightly with Tea Dye ink. Of course, I had to add some buttons and Spring Moss ribbon to finish this off!
Thanks for stopping by!

Heartfelt sympathy...
Hi there,
Just popping in with another card I made for the CPS anniversary sketches. This time I chose this sketch:
I kept things simple and created this:
The image is from Our Daily Bread and was cut with nestabilities and sponged with ink. The sentiment is from a PTI set and stamped on a Spellbinders ribbon tag. The paper in the background is from K&Co, layered on Soft Suede card and finished off with some Very Vanilla grosgrain ribbon and some pearls.

Anniversary roses...
Hi there,
I had a bunch of cards to make for an order recently so I thought I would play along with the CPS anniversary sketches to get me started. I picked this one (day 5) to begin:
I needed some more anniversary cards so I dug out an image I'd coloured a while ago and came up with this:
I combined the retired SU image with a PTI label along with a sentiment from Verve that I got recently. The papers are retired SU ones I have in my stash (colour combo is Ruby Red, Groovy Guava and Old Olive). I added some ribbon, lace, pearls and a button to finish things off.
That's all for now, but I'll hopefully be back quite a bit over the next week or so sharing more of the cards I make using the CPS sketches...
Thanks for stopping by!
